The
year
2007
was
also
a
time
when
the
U.S.
was
on
the
verge
of
a
recession,
worsened
by
an
ever-
diminishing
pool
of
energy
resources.
We
envisioned
saving
homeowners
time,
money
and
resources
while
increasing
the
comfort
and
durability
of
the
structures
they
live
in.
Within
our
quality
home
building
services,
we
offer
the
utilization
of
materials
and
methods
that
are
not
only
beautiful
and
inviting,
but
will
also
translate
to
less
maintenance
and
lower
energy
costs
for
the
homeowner.
We
understand
the
‘science’
of
building
science,
and
firmly
believe
in
incorporating
the
latest
proven
methods
that
support
that
science.
Integral
to
a
successful
build
or
renovation,
for
both
the
homeowner
and
for
us
as
a
company,
is
the
high
level
of
attention
Dale
and
Jennifer
provide
to
all
the
projects.
Adherence
to
good
building
practices
that
emphasize
the
science
means
significant
quality
control.
Dale
is
diligent
in
that
regard,
choosing
only
sub-contractors
that
exemplify
that
high
level
of
quality
work
and
then
providing
oversight
of
them
throughout
the
process.
Dale’s
own
ability
to
do
the
vast
majority
of
the
house
building
provides
him
insight
into
good
practice
that
other
contractors
without
that
personal knowledge often cannot provide.
Consequently,
we
choose
to
be
limited
in
the
number
of
projects
we
take
on
at
a
time.
Juggling
4
or
5
or
more
projects
at
one
time
would
not
allow
Dale
to
provide
that
level
of
attention
to
the
homeowner
or
to
the
project.
We
want
our
clients
to
have
a
positive
experience
with
projects
that
are,
by
nature,
sometimes
stressful
and
overwhelming,
and
we
understand
that
attention
to
the
project’s
details,
and
attention
to
the
client’s
needs,
will
go
a
long
way
in
creating
that
positive
experience.
We
are
self-serving
in
assuring
our
client’s
positive
experience
and
quality-built
home.
By
doing
our
best
in
having
that
happen,
we
are
working
to
build
a
profitable,
sustainable
home-
building
business
that
will
be
around
for
years
to
come.
“Tragically,
for
a
good
portion
of
the
last
60
years
or
so,
building
homes
has
been
spiraling
to
low
quality
–
the
cheapest
materials
with
the
least
amount
of
care,
and
a
builder’s
emphasis
on
quantity
of
homes
while
covering
the
poor
quality
with
fancy
roof
lines
and
grand
master
baths.
Given
that
a
home
may
be
the
largest
investment
a
person
makes
in
his
or
her
lifetime,
we
can
and
should
do
better.
We
shouldn’t
just
‘build
to
code’
but
actually
far
exceed
it
so
that
our
homes
are
not
lasting
25
years,
but
rather
100
years,
200
years, or more.”
By
choosing
Cornerstone
Construction
to
build
or
renovate
their
home,
homeowners
will
be
left
with
a
home
that
provides
a
comfortable
and
healthy
living
environment,
they
will
enjoy
lower
operating
costs
of
their
home,
and
they
can
feel
good
for
their
contribution
to
conserving
our
earth’s
natural resources.
OUR STORY
COMMITTED TO QUALITY
Dale
Tomasek,
owner
of
Cornerstone
Construction
and
general
contractor,
has
more
than
two
decades
of
home
building
and
renovation
experience.
Founding
the
company
in
2007,
Dale,
along
with
his
wife,
Jennifer,
saw
a
need
to
offer
people
quality
construction
and
renovation
services
done
with
a
sense
of
integrity.
We
believe
people
should
have
trustworthy
and
experienced
individuals
who
build and work on their homes...
